About Strand

Strand is a site for sharing 3D printing - the settings that configure how hot the bed gets and the results of your latest prints. Slicing applications like Prusa Slic3r need lots of settings and parameters to make sure that your prints work perfectly every time. With so many settings it can be very time consuming to dial everything in to perfection for every filament that you use. Strand was created because there were so many different kinds and brands of filament that no single place seemed to be able to track the settings for all of them. Strand is a place where we can collaborate to get perfect prints every single time <3.
